A night of darkness

If it's not one thing, it's another with this boy. Last night night he hid his night light/clock in his drawer.... so of course he woke up every 2 hours scared of the dark. But he doesn't want to leave it out? Hopefully tonight goes easier. This morning he's prancing around singing little bunny foo foo, so that's cute. We headed over to Meemaw and Papa's and he got him a fun gift from the train show. Then we headed past the train yard to try to find the park by it, but the roads seemed closed off. We'll try an alternate route tomorrow. We tried to find some pez (we promised to look) at Mr Veggie's store.... but alas it seems to be a difficult thing to find, replacement pez candy. Might just have to order it.

Things otherwise remain pretty quiet. Few bumps in the road with Peanut, a few little kicks from Almond. Have to order tickets for Thomas this summer, he's coming to a town near us! Lot's to do outside, but it's a pretty bleh day, an off day. Just not feeling great day. The fact that I got him out of the house at all is bonus points, right?? But he's napping now anyways, so no rush anyways. Maybe we'll get to something later. I'm thinking risotto for dinner. I've suffering headaches and took cheese out of the equation, and it worked. But I've been experimenting with different cheeses, might as well take it to the next level and see if I can go back to eating them. Sausage/bacon will be my last test. I don't even really need to try those, since I'm fairly certain it was the culprit. Regardless it's going last.

4 more days left in the month. 4 more months left to go. I need to figure out a list of things to get done before May. I can start doing some major outdoor tasks very soon, with the weather warming up. And there are just a few things left from Trivia to deal with. Went to a garage sale the other day, but the big sale is on the first, hopefully we'll find lot's of good stuff. Because we didn't find a single thing for Almond this last weekend But a few future things for Peanut, like XMas pjs.

Might finally go through the Easter stuff today, so here's a quick little snippet! Thanks K for taking the picture!

Welcome to the future world, Almond Joy

It's official! We're 21 weeks pregnant with the new Almond Joy. I've already felt a ton of movement with her, and Peanut loves her. He daily hugs and kisses my belly and says hello. Let's hope that love holds up! He's also pretty much always has said he wants a sister, so glad we could oblige!

Comparing fetuses so far:
Peanut's HB was 165 at 16 weeks and this one is 158. Which was down to 151 at the 20 week appointment. I wanted nonstop cheeseburgers with Peanut and this one I like more fruits and sweet things, though no super serious cravings. I never had hair issues with Peanut and this one my hair is falling out. I've been sicker with her than Peanut, but not crazy so. So far I'm still walking ok, where as after my U/S with Peanut began the real pain.

He'll be keeping his room, though we'll likely move him into the full size bed (lucky kid!) since it'll be much more convenient to have out for company vs the trundle/cot bed he has now. We'll be redecorating and looking for some really cool real train type stuff to decorate his room with. I'm planning on letting him choose the wall color, we'll give him a few options, one to keep it the same, one being a more muted color and one being a white-ish color.

AJ is getting sunflowers. Soft and yellow and happy. Have a few ideas so far, but it'll be a ton of work no matter what. Soft yellow walls, new curtains, sunflower wall stickers and/or art... and I'm sure I'll have to try to get some Plants vs Zombies stuff in there as well. C'mon! Sunflowers!!

Have to work on both of their closets, we'll need another dresser, all my crafting stuff needs to get relocated to the play room. Aunt K is coming for a week this summer to help us get focused and working. Dang, it's weird thinking about it only being a little over four months away.

Other then the couple of gifts we've gotten so far, we haven't really bought anything yet. First things first I guess is to clear out all the craft stuff and make room for it down here. I think Peanut will be happy with losing a little bit of his space if it means I'll be doing things closer to him. At least, that's the theory I'm going with! And he's got plenty of space anyways. Just did another purge of toys before Trivia last weekend, there was plenty we could put in the basement without disturbing him. He still loves trains the most, but he's been really happy with his play kitchen stuff as of late. I got hit with some nausea yesterday and he did his best to nurse me back to health by cooking up some play food. Sweet little kid :)
